A Beautiful Angel is Now Looking Over and Protecting All of Us...
Suzanne (Gaudet) Parker, age 39, lost her long and courageous battle with cancer on Friday, October 12 in Nashville, TN. She was surrounded by her family. “Zanny” or “Suz”, as most of her friends and family called her, was born and raised in Rumford, Maine. At an early age, she developed a passion and talent for music and singing that she carried into adulthood and made her career. She sang with the Connecticut swing band, “Eight to the Bar” for several years until she moved to Nashville to pursue a solo career as a singer/songwriter. While there, she met her soul-mate and husband ,Will Parker, also a musician and songwriter. The two of them became recording artists and took their duo “Beyond Violet” on the tour of love traveling throughout the country entertaining a faithful following of fans with an eclectic blend of original and cover music. In addition to her music, Zanny had a multitude of talents including acting, painting and writing. Her sense of humor and quick wit endeared her to everyone she came in contact with. She leaves her husband, Will Parker of Nashville, TN, her parents, Barbara and Steve Gaudet of Florida, her brother Steve Gaudet, his wife Beth and their children Cassidy and Cooper of Maine, a brother Matthew Gaudet of Minnesota and many loved in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Zanny's positive attitude and zeal for life, especially during her battle with cancer, was an inspiration to all. Her spirit will live on in those closest to her for all the days to come. Memorial services in Connecticut and Maine will be announced at a future date.
